Madness’s 2022 tour in Germany, part of their Summer Tour 2022, featured multiple performances that showcased the band’s classic hits alongside newer material. The tour kicked off at E-Werk, Cologne, with two consecutive shows on September 9 and 10, 2022. These concerts delivered fan-favorite tracks like “One Step Beyond,” “Baggy Trousers,” “Our House,” and “It Must Be Love,” captivating the audience with the band’s energetic ska-pop sound. The shows started at 9:00 PM and ran for approximately 90 minutes, keeping fans engaged with a well-balanced mix of nostalgia and new releases
Following Cologne, Madness performed at Barclays Arena in Hamburg on September 14, continuing the momentum. The setlists remained consistent, featuring standout tracks from their early albums such as Absolutely and One Step Beyond, as well as more recent songs like “Mr. Apples” from their 2016 album Can’t Touch Us Now. Their Hamburg concert followed the same energetic blueprint, combining timeless hits with newer tunes.
The German leg of the tour concluded with two back-to-back shows at the Tempodrom in Berlin on September 16 and 17. These performances maintained the high-energy atmosphere of previous concerts, giving the Berlin crowd a setlist that spanned decades of Madness’s music, including tracks from their 2022 album Theatre of the Absurd Presents C’est La Vie.
Across all venues, Madness balanced their signature ska hits with new material, appealing to long-time fans while introducing fresh content These concerts were part of their larger Summer Tour 2022, and Madness delivered a solid mix of their classic hits alongside newer tracks from Theatre of the Absurd Presents C’est La Vie.
